I had mine done today, and while the initial needle going through was fairly painful, the rest of the procedure I found was just uncomfortable.
I had the top bit of my ear pierced about 10 weeks ago and that was more painful, but i think it was because it was done with a gun and shouldn't have been.
I have wanted my Tragus done for so long but have never plucked up the courage to do it because I was told it was extremely painful, but I have to say, at the moment it's not that bad.

I am 14 and i got my tragus pierced a few months ago it didnt hurt because i had a very good piercer. however getting it changed hurt cause my tragus was sore from the piercing. i really like it and i do reccomend it. But if you do get it pierced make sure you go to the drugstore and get a can of h2ocean pr saline solution and just spray it in your ear twice a day:)xoxo

I had both of my tragus' pierced a few months ago. I'm not really tough nor am I super sensitive to pain, but the initial needle really wasn't that bad. Now given, I had a fantastic professional piercer. He put the needle through the front and attached the labret to the needle, and then pulled it through. The worst of the pain was when the jewelery was pulled through the hole. It was pretty sharp, but also quick so not a biggie. Hope all goes well!

I had my tragus done today and it didn't hurt at all, however I discovered when getting my epidural that I have a high tolerance for pain. I was so nervous, that I was shaking lol but it you take deep breaths and relax it will go relatively fast and painless. Jerking around and moving will cause more pain, also it really depends on who your piercer is ask the customers and they will definitely direct you to the mist qualified, yet gentle piercer, also make sure the needle is extra sharp that way it will go through your cartilage smoothly. I prefer tattoo parlors because they specialize in piercing and body modification. Do your research for before and after care and go back in 3 weeks so your piercer can see your healing progress, its totally width it and it's nit bad just mainly pressure you will love it.

I've had my tragus pierced for about 2 weeks. the pain wasn't bad at all. I'm also a fast healer when it came to my other tattoos and piercings, will it still be too risky to go ahead and change out my earring to a new one only 2 weeks healed?
i no longer feel any kind of pain or irritation at all. I'm just a little freaked out by all the posts ive read about changing out this earring.
